Zero wait time is the ideal scenario. Very often though, your user has to wait while using your app or site.
It is very important to cater for these in progress – in-wait – processing states in your designs.
Wait and loading animations will help your user to understanding that your system is processing their latest action or that something is loading. A nice and well executed animation will ease a waiting experience and help reduce the perception of time.
